Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant while using this medication. Xalatan your doctor right away if any of these highly but serious side effects occur: eye pain, suspected eye infection (unusual redness or swelling of eyes), chest pain.
Apply this medication in the affected eye(s) usually once daily in the evening, or as directed by your doctor.
The most frequently reported ana have been increased pigmentation of the iris, periorbital tissue Xalatan, and eyelashes. Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescriptionherbal products you may use, especially of: eyelash treatment (such as topically applied bimatoprost). The dosage of Xalatan should not exceed once daily; the combined use of two or more prostaglandins, or prostaglandin analogs including Xalatan is not recommended.
Conventional surgery works best if you have not had previous eye surgery, such as a cataract operation.
There have been conversations of bacterial keratitis associated with the use of xalatan containers of topical ophthalmic products. In the front of the eye is a space called the anterior chamber.
A clear fluid flows continuously in and out of the chamber and nourishes nearby tissues.
